Broadcasting everyday News is a big business today. There are so many channels which have been in to this business and minting money like anything. The journalists/reporters of these channels go to any extent to capture what they want. These news channels are backed up by huge political, money, and muscle power. Most of the times they display sting operations to expose a corrupt minister of opposition party, to highlight the atrocities committed by the ruling party, etc; But, on the whole, whomever the News Channel support, somehow knowingly or unknowingly, they are letting the viewer know that in what type of world s/he is living in.
Different News Channels express different views on different subjects. These views may be biased or objective. Therefore, in order to know the correct picture of what is happening around, the viewer has to watch the same News broadcasted by different channels. This way, there are chances that the viewer may get an objective view of what, why, how, and when of a particular situation.
Most of the times, News Channels broadcast same news item repeatedly under headings like Breaking News, Flash News, etc. Earlier, occasionally, there used to be a Breaking/Flash news. Nowadays, the Breaking News has occupied a separate permanent place for itself at the bottom of the TV channel. And one more thing is the bad habit of News Channels to make even normal news also sensational. This particular habit has spread like a virus nowadays across all the channels. Unfortunately, all these tactics are to increase their TRP ratings.
