Hydroponics – The Soil Less Farming

This is a very interesting kind of farming. Hydroponics is farming
with water but no soil. Although this kind of farming has been popular
in US, UK, and Canada, it is rather not that much popular in other
parts of the world. However, this kind of farming has huge benefits.
Especially, urban citizens can take advantage of this kind of farming
and can grow fresh vegetables in their indoor areas. The other
advantage is this farming technique does not require huge real estate.
You can do your farming if you have space of just 20 meters. That's
cool!! In developed countries like US, UK and Canada, readymade
hydroponic-kits are available. All you need to do is fill the kit with
water, mix the water with the given exclusive hydroponic-fertilizer,
and sow the seeds in the holder. That's it! Just wait for 2/3 days to
see the results. If you want to do big, hydroponic-farming through its
scaleable solutions allows you to do. You can produce 1000 kg of
vegetables and sell the same in your neighborhood. Pretty much money,
right?

So, why you are waiting for? Go to the nearest hydroponic-center, get
the details, and start growing your own produce.

Building Your Resume

If you are on the lookout for a new job, this is the right time you
need to build your resume afresh. You know why people use the word
"BUILD" instead of writing resume. It is because the word BUILD
signifies and resembles symbolically about building your career. Life
is full of surprises. Nobody knows, in these times of recession, whose
head is going to roll next. Therefore, it is in the best interests of
your career to build a new resume, which truly reflects your potential
and professional capacity with genuine experience to support with.

Resume building is not an easy exercise as most of the jobseekers
think. Quite frequently, HR people come across so many resumes with
half-baked English with illegible salary and experience details. It is
easy to identify these types of resumes from professional ones. One
can easily realize that both these resume types are eons apart. The
look, intro, and the approach of a professionally written resume have
the potential to convince the employer. Nowadays, jobseekers are
inserting their introduction videos in the PDF files of their
respective resumes thus giving it a multi-media touch. The way you
build your resume reflects your technical, language, and communication
skills. It also makes the reader know about how you carry yourself
professionally.

Therefore, always take care while building your resume!

Is Your Mobile Leaking your Secrets?

Yes, chances are there if you are using a sophisticated mobile, which
have all the hi-fi features like Bluetooth, GPS enabled, etc. Most of
the people who buy costly mobiles never think that their precious
mobile leaks away their secrets, conversations, SMS to their dear
ones, Bank details (if stored), etc, to the hacker who tracks you.
Nevertheless, why people track? Yes, they may do that for evil
intentions like, for example, steal money from you, blackmail you
(after knowing your secrets!), etc.

It is very easy nowadays to get tracked, hacked, and cheated. Your
hi-fi mobile is the culprit behind all these things. A hacker, who
hacks your phone, installs a small mischief code in your hi-fi mobile
using its enabled Bluetooth feature; without your knowledge. That's
it! From there on, whatever you do, wherever you go, whomever you talk
to and receive calls, whatever SMS you send /receive, etc, every thing
would get tracked by your hacker. The hacker will know your movements
even without your knowledge. Your hacker who sits at a distant safe
place and tracks all your stuff can record all your conversations and
SMS. Although you are the owner of your hi-fi mobile, frankly
speaking, the control lies literally in the hands of your hacker.

However, what are the ways that a mischief code could be installed on
your mobile? There are so many ways. As told earlier in this article,
one way is through enabled Bluetooth on your mobile. The other way is
when your mobile software gets crashed and you go to the showroom to
reinstall the mobile's software, then a rogue worker there can install
this kind of mischief code in your mobile.

Therefore, this blog suggests to go for an entry-level mobile instead
of opting for hi-fi one. The more hi-fi your mobile is, the more it is
vulnerable for getting hacked by the rogue elements.

So….BEWARE!

I Shoe/Sue You!

This is what has been happening recently all over the world. May be
people have been using this SHOE missile to vent their anger against
the concerned person or the establishment. Nevertheless, the SHOE
throwing episodes have been increasing day after day and people have
been relentlessly doing that against people who have been known as
HEAVY WEIGHTS in national and international politics.

Can this be taken as a good symbol? People, without getting afraid as
in the past, are coming out of their fear veils and are protesting in
such a way, which make authorities sit and take notice. Earlier, I
used to hear ridiculous stories from people who returned from US
saying that people there SUE even big corporations, without fear, if
they bear loss because of the company's product. It is something they
do quite often and because of that company's there, take so many
measures in order not to give a chance for their customers to SUE
them.

Exactly, let's hope that the SHOE throwing episodes in Indian election
scenario should bring such kind of accountability and responsibility
in the mind and hearts of the existing and would-be politicians. This
kind of episodes will definitely embarrass and harass them in front of
the public for not doing their work properly. Justice delayed is
justice denied. It seems that since justice is delayed (in most of the
cases!) due to the laborious, complicated, and outdated existing legal
process in India, people have been readily opting the Shoe throwing
option not only to vent their anger but also to punish those who are
insensitive to their ever-lasting problems in front of the public.

Although this blog does not appreciate and recognize that Shoe
throwing as one of the official protest options, but due to the
insensitivity of the politicians to the current problems that India
has been facing, it assumes this is also one of the authorized ways to
force the wily politician to do something good for the public who give
him power and authority through their vote power for the next 5 years.

A New Biometric Tool

A new tool has been found by our scientists, which can be used as an
antitheft mechanism for your ipods and mobiles. Moreover, the new
biometric tool is nothing but the hair in your inner ear.

Every time your ear picks up a new sound, the hair in the inner ear
vibrates in such a way so that the sound received by it can be
amplified by X times. After amplification, the sound is forwarded
toward the eardrum through the existing bone setup. Now, while
vibrating to amplify the received sound, the inner ear hair itself
produces a noise of its own. Moreover, this noise found to be unique
to each individual and made the vibrations of inner ear a new
biometric tool. The surprising factor is that we (humans) cannot hear
the noise produced by the inner ear. Only sensitive microphones have
the capacity to pick up these noise signals.

If brought into use, this biometric tool can be used by your bank call
centers to verify and validate your call by making a few clicks from
their computer while you are on call with them to know whether you are
the same person whom you are claiming to be.

SO, BE READY!

Buy Gold

Hey Guys,

Are you planning to buy Gold now? The yellow metal has crossed Rs.
14500/- mark already. Although the rise of the Sensex has been putting
pressure on Gold, but nobody is quite sure how long will the Sensex
maintain its pace! In these days of inconsistency, it is better to buy
an ounce of Gold whenever you have an chance to do so. The yellow
metal has been consistently giving good returns and is known as a
safest investment so far.

Because the stocks have been facing pressure due to recession, people
are buying Gold like never before; this has been the talk in the
market. At the same time, since people have been increasing their
volume intake, the Gold rate has been increasing day after day. Within
90 days period, Gold rate has been increased by Rs. 2000/- per 10 gms.
This is really a great return in the recession days.

So, Buy Gold!

Gold Shines in India

No matter what how recession has been affecting the entire world, but Indians are not ready to stop investing in Gold. Fondly called as the Yellow Metal, Gold has been shining in India irrespective of economic ups and downs. As per the Indian culture, Indians favorite metal Gold is a part of their tradition and culture. There are hymns in Vedas about Gold to support this statement. Fortunately, the current world economic system also supports Gold as one of the potential investments. In India, almost all the Gopurams of rich temples (temples that attract huge donations!) are covered in Gold. As India had been a rich country, she has attracted so many wars from foreign countries until the British finally captured and taken away almost all the precious diamonds, pearls, gold ornaments, etc, of hers. Although the barbaric foreign marauders who had plundered India and taken away her wealth, Indians still think, respect, and look at Gold as Goddess Laxmi. There are national wide auspicious days like Akshaya Thritiya, where people all over the country celebrate the day by buying at least a gram of gold.

Table: Gold Prices During the Last Decade

Coming to the economic aspects of Gold in these inflation/deflation days, as an investment, Gold has yielded an annual average return of 26% during the past decade. The preceding table displays all the crucial turning points in the price of Gold during the past decade. One can see that 10 gms Gold which was worth Rs. 3850/- in 1999 is now priced at Rs. 14180/-. That is the power of Gold as an investment.

Don’t Let The Opponent Decide Your Game

How many times did you feel that you were let down by the bad events happening in your life? How many times did the people around you let you down in their own style? How many insults did you bear so far? How many times did you feel that your life's game is over and the chance to decide the end of the game is in somebody else hands? I know…

Every time a tragedy strucks, you think in the preceding way. No matter what the kind and type of the situation is, even after bearing all the hardships in one's life, suddenly at one point of time, the mind becomes sensitive to the bad events happening to you. That single sensitive soft spot has the potential to make a hole through your iron will and steel nerves. If you let it go, then it has the capacity to bring you down. Therefore, no matter what, you need to stop it.

Don't let your game decided by others. Even if you are at the losing end, don't give a chance to others to decide how your game should be closed. Never give your opponent the satisfaction that s/he successfully closed the game of yours in a way s/he wants. No! In the first place, don't think that the game is over. You can still stop the opponent. No matter whatever strength s/he possesses.

If the time is showing adverse signs, the luck is miles away from you, your mind/body is ditching you, but your opponent is going strong, then decide the game of yours in such a way that though the opponent wins practically, but psychologically s/he should never feel the winning happiness.

By writing the end of your game in your own way, you will win the opponent no matter how strong s/he is.

Guru Chandala Yoga and Anjali

Anjali, a relatively unknown lawyer so far, suddenly shot into limelight a few days back when she was asked to represent the Mumbai’s 26/11 lone-surviving terrorist, Ajmal Kasab. The reason is professional misconduct. Whatever may be the reason, the court removed Anjali from representing Kasab’s case.

In astrology, there has been a yoga called Guru Chandala Yoga. This yoga forms when the planets Guru and Rahu meet each other in the same Nakshatra and Pada, during their transit. This year, Guru Chandala Yoga formed on March 23 and continued until April 10, 2009. Any person who is having Guru in good position in his/her horoscope has the chance to face this Guru Chandala Yoga. The result of this yoga makes a person to lose his/her social status, money, respect, etc.

During this period, Kasab’s case also took so many twists and turns; finally, the buck stopped at such a position where Kasab has asked for a lawyer to represent himself. Then Anjali came into picture. She was asked by the court to represent Kasab. Immediately, the political parties, which don’t want Kasab’s trail to happen, protested in front of Anjali’s house. Anjali was forced to think. She was in two minds then, whether to represent Kasab or not. Next day, most of the TV channels had broadcasted whatever happened and Anjali was shot into limelight. She was given ‘Z’ security by the court. Finally, she decided to represent Kasab. The story should have ended here, but not due to Guru Chandala Yoga.

Somebody filed a petition against Anjali and the court asked her to step down on grounds of professional misconduct. Finally, the day on which she was supposed to represent Kasab, Anjali was removed as Kasab’s representative.

This is a clear-cut case of how Guru Chandala Yoga works!

Akshay-Twinkle & Indecency

Akshay Kumar, the Bollywood Padmashree awardee actor, is piping hot
nowadays. He has been in news recently by listing himself as a highest
taxpayer pushing the self-styled King Khan to the second position.
However, he has been also in the news for wrong reasons lately! During
a fashion show, the Khiladi No. 1 had reportedly asked his beautiful
wife and former Bollywood actress, Twinkle Khanna, to unbutton the
Jeans, he has been wearing. Twinkle, with giving a blink, did it.
Everyone sitting around the hubby-wife duo has been happy watching the
unbuttoning episode. Nevertheless, the local Govt administration took
that act as offence and filed a case.

At first, it was thought that Akshay will face the heat from the court
but surprisingly, the administration slapped a court notice and an
arrest warrant against Akshay's lovely wife, Twinkle (who doesn't
blink), for public indecent act of unbuttoning her hubby's rock
washable jeans in front of everyone! Anyway, they released immediately
after arresting her but that is another case!

Therefore, the morale of the Akshay-Twinkle unbuttoning act story to
the public is …
Don't ask others to unbutton your dress; simply, do it yourself!

THE URGE TO WRITE :)

Most of the times, we think that we can write a lot about the topic we
know. However, when we sit with the pen and paper in hand, suddenly
the mind goes blank and the pen does not move a fraction of an inch.
Our James Bond mind that can think about anything under the Sun
suddenly goes dumb. It won't give signals to the motor nerves so that
the pen in our hand can start writing letters on the paper about the
particular topic.

Most of the writers might have experienced the preceding feeling in
their day-to-day lives. Sometimes, though we know the topic in hand,
yet we won't feel the urge to write about that. Instead of writing
about the topic, the mind starts wavering and we loose the direction.
Professional writers control this kind of mind wavering and can direct
themselves in such a way so that their mind can focus on the topic and
the way to put it in words. They train themselves and their mind to
resist this kind of going dumb feeling and keep themselves active and
alert by following traditional methods like Yoga, Meditation, etc.

That's why this blog wants to give a tip to the amateur writers to
follow as part of the solution to the 'going dumb' feeling as
explained above.

TIP:
WATCH SHILPA SHETTY (BOLLYWOOD ACTRESS) DOING YOGA ON YOUR 90" PLASMA
TV. IMMEDIATELY, YOU FEEL THE SUDDEN URGE TO DO SOMETHING…I MEAN...TO

Reading Success Stories!

Most of the times, we see people who roam everywhere with a book in their hand. Moreover, chances are there that the book they hold talks about the success of an important person who had struggled hard and made it big in his/her life. Reading success stories is good. One will get inspiration by reading the life stories of highly successful people. Most of the people, who are in the 15 – 35 age group, read such kind of books. These people are searching for a role model whom they can copy in their real life. However, is it possible to copy another person’s “success solution” in one’s own life? This blog does not think so!

Actually, every person leads a different life. S/he faces lot of obstacles and hardships before becoming successful and overcome them with the available resources and solutions on that particular spot exclusively available for him/her. One cannot exactly copy the solutions implemented by the successful person in his/her own life. The reasons are so many for not implementing them including the nature of the problems itself.

However, one man’s food is another man’s poison. You can inspire yourself by reading Success Story books. This blog feels that it is a waste exercise to follow the methods/solutions described in that success book to overcome the problems that you are facing in your real life. Although the problem is similar but the situation and context are different. Therefore, definitely the solution to overcome the problem will be different. This blog suggests to all those book lovers who read Success Stories of different individuals, not to copy and implement in letter and spirit, the solutions described in the book; instead, it suggests to design your own unique solution to overcome the problem you have been facing.

Hai Hai English!

Samajwadi Party (SP) has released its party manifesto for 2009 Loksabha elections recently. The horror part is that the party wants to abolish English medium education and eliminate computers and other mechanization programs; the party feels that these are the real culprits in increasing the unemployment factor in India. SP will implement the above point of its manifesto when the party joins hands with a ruling party after the April 2009 elections. Means, whichever party requests SP’s support to grab power in Delhi in these next coming Loksabha elections, has to agree and implement SP’s logic and manifesto points.

This blog feels that if SP like parties come to power, with this kind of mindset they will definitely pull India back by hundreds of years. What do you think? Please let me know your comments in the Comments section of this blog.

Pakistan Flip-Flops Again!

Pakistan Government again started making unintelligible & distasteful comments in media against India regarding the recent terrorist attacks happened in their country; Pak have been claiming that India is behind those attacks. The whole world condemned its latest incredible comments against India. However, undeterred Pak has been continuing in making this kind of wily comments.

Surprisingly, when the world is worried about Pakistan and its existence in the light of increased frequency of Taliban attacks on its prime centers and locations, Pak Government is least worried about that issue. From UK to US, every peace ambassador has been telling Pakistan Government to eliminate all the terrorist shelters and breakdown all the terrorist related infrastructure in their country. The worried world has even decided to provide financial aid to week Pakistan government so that they can effectively fight the terrorists staying in their country. Pakistan is eager to accept the aid but not ready to fight the terrorists.

One can see that Pakistan Government has been founding one or other excuse whenever somebody corners it regarding the terrorist elimination in their country. There has been an old saying: where there is a will, there is a way. When there is no will, you cannot see or find any way; for you everyway is blocked. When there is no will to fight the terrorists in your country, obviously you find lot of excuses to tell the world why you are unable to fight them! Right?
