Microsoft Outlook Inbox Mail Sorting Options Explained


Are you new to Microsoft Outlook? Do you know how to view your different categories of mails with a few clicks? This article lets you know in a simple way about how you can view your unread mails and sort out mails by Sender, Subject, Sent to, Conversation Topic-wise.

After your Outlook account has been setup by your Administrator, log in to the account using your Username and Password. Once you start getting mails, you need to sort them.

For sorting the mails …

1. Click Inbox; all the mails in your Inbox appears as the default view settings in three vertical panels. The first panel on your left displays your Folders, the second panel displays your Inbox mails, and the third panel displays the content of the selected mail.

2. If you want to sort your mails by Sender-wise, click the small downward arrow to the right of the Inbox link located just above the Inbox mails panel; Outlook displays a drop-down displaying different sort options.

· Click By Sender option; the Inbox mails panel immediately refreshes itself and display all the mails sent to you.

3. If you want to sort your mails by Subject-wise, click the small downward arrow to the right of the Inbox link located just above the Inbox mails panel; Outlook displays a drop-down displaying different sort options.

· Click By Subject option; the Inbox mails panel immediately refreshes itself and display all the mails subject-wise in ascending order.

4. If you want to sort your mails by Conversation-wise, click the small downward arrow to the right of the Inbox link located just above the Inbox mails panel; Outlook displays a drop-down displaying different sort options.

· Click By Conversation option; the Inbox mails panel immediately refreshes itself and display all the mails sent to you date-wise, the recent conversation appearing first in the Inbox.

5. If you want to sort your mails by Sent To-wise, click the small downward arrow to the right of the Inbox link located just above the Inbox mails panel; Outlook displays a drop-down displaying different sort options.

· Click Sent To option; the Inbox mails panel immediately refreshes itself and display all the mails sent to you date-wise, the first mail being the latest one sent to you on today.

6. If you want to sort your mails by Unread By Conversation Topic, click the small downward arrow to the right of the Inbox link located just above the Inbox mails panel; Outlook displays a drop-down displaying different sort options.

· Click Unread By Conversation Topic option; the Inbox mails panel immediately refreshes itself and display all the mails sent to you but have not read. The mails are displayed as per Conversation-wise, the recent Conversion appearing first in the Inbox.

7. If you want to sort your mails by Unread Messages, click the small downward arrow to the right of the Inbox link located just above the Inbox mails panel; Outlook displays a drop-down displaying different sort options.

· Click Unread Messages option; the Inbox mails panel immediately refreshes itself and display all the unread mails sent to you as per time and date wise.

8. If you just want to view your mails as per time and date, then chose the Messages option; click the small downward arrow to the right of the Inbox link located just above the Inbox mails panel. Outlook displays a drop-down displaying different sort options.

· Click Messages option; the Inbox mails panel immediately refreshes itself and display all the mails sent to you as per time and date wise.

9. If you want to have a Two-Line View, click Inbox link located just above the Inbox mails panel. Click the small downward arrow to the right of the Inbox link located just above the Inbox mails panel; Outlook displays a drop-down displaying different sort options.

· Click Two-Line View option; the Inbox mails panel immediately refreshes itself and display all the mails sent to you with the Sender's Name and the mail's Subject in two different lines.

As a matter of fact when I had this problems I used next software-password lost for microsoft outlook data file,tool to my mind has many good resources and has free status as far as I know,utility recover forgotten or lost passwords,will be recovered and you get access to your mailbox, recover lost password Outlook, when lost password Outlook 2002,recover lost saved password Outlook before use for recovering lost Outlook password, when lost password in outlook 2003,will work with all versions of Microsoft Windows, starting from Windows 98, what about Microsoft Office package, it is supported from Microsoft Office 97,allows to guess your Microsoft Outlook lost password in less than several seconds, now you can make sure, that Microsoft Outlook has a very weak protection and some security measures are really necessary.
