Watching TV Has Become A Burden

Everyday we watch TV. There are so many channels vying for your attention. Moreover, the technology has given you a comfort in the form of REMOTE so that you can switch channels as you wish whenever you feel bored by the current program. Television has become a part of our life. Nowadays, people may not have permanent shelter but not TV. No other gadget can replace the entertainment provided by TV. The regular TV serials and the saucy episodes of never ending family sagas have become part of our life. People discuss all those things that happen in a serial as if it is happening in their own family. They feel the same tension and relate themselves to the roles played in that serial. This is normal human psychology. People even love the role players and keep their photos in their pockets, purses, on the walls in their houses, etc.

Unfortunately, the content shown in these serials is so disturbing most of the times. The serial producers, for the sake of hiking their TRP ratings, introduce everything nasty as part of the serial. Every soap shows family feuds, cunning family members who want to out do each other, different kinds of illegal relations and long unwanted discussions about them, etc. No soap, serial, episode, etc, is free from this kind of disturbing stuff. Nobody is forcing these creative-less producers and directors to make this kind of serials. It seems there is an unholy nexus between serial-makers, advertisement marketers, and channel owners.

Why Journalists Shoe-Throwing Game has become Popular?

Remember, America’s ex-president Bush; a shoe was hurled at him by a Muslim journo during the Iraqi visit. But, that was just a starting! After that, so many premiers, ministers, etc, have had to face the wrath of shoe hurling journalists time and again. Recently, Chidambaram, the Indian Home Minister and a financial mastermind, have to face the wrath of a shoe-hurling Sikh journalist while he is attending a press conference. Journalists, all over the world, are enjoying this shoe-hurling game on most prestigious persons and are celebrating the same by printing, broadcasting, podcasting, etc. Nobody is condemning this practice.

Journalists are educated people and are in a responsible profession to spread the truth. If these guys/gals started doing this kind of nasty activities just like an uneducated Tarzan in the jungle, then what can the world expect from these people. Being an educated responsible person, you are expected to show your contempt in a professional manner. If any other person does the same thing, being a journalist, you go and ask hundreds of questions and not satisfying with the answer you receive, you start deducing your own assumptions and conclusions on the matter. Now, you as a responsible person in this society and do this kind of horrible and disgusting things, do you think you will be shot into fame and garlanded for your abominable acts. A sincere NO!

This blog suggests a severe punishment for all journalists who threw shoes at respective people in an act against their decorum.

Is Exercise Must to Reduce Calories?

The answer is simply No. Why we need to exercise? It is because, we have already consumed more number of calories than required per day and by doing exercise, the body can get rid of those unwanted calories. That’s it. Ok! Then, is there a simple way to reduce the unwanted calories without doing rigorous exercise for 30 minutes per day? Yes, there is. The only solution is don’t drink sweetened beverages, which adds extra-unwanted 10% calories to your body, every time you drink. Instead of drinking beverages, drink clean purified potable water to quench your thirst. Moreover, drinking water is a cheap for quenching thirst compared to drinking other sweetened beverages. By drinking water, you won’t add any extra calories but can quench your thirst.

This blog suggests you to drink a glass of water instead of a soda, which needs a 30-minute rigorous exercise to burn the calories added by it, whenever you feel thirsty.

So Many Jade Goody’s in India

Remember JADE GOODY, who died recently because of Cervical Cancer. She had sold her last moments to a broadcasting company for the sake of her two children who are too young to understand what happened to their beloved Mummy. Now, there are reports that the CERVICAL CANCER because of which JADE GOODY died, is there is India also. Unhygienic conditions and multiple sexual partners are the main reasons for spreading of CERVICAL CANCER.

Cervical Cancer can be identified with three types of screening:
1. HPV Testing with DNA technology
2. Papanicolaou (PAP)Testing
3. Visual Inspection of Cervix with Acetic Acid (VIA)

It is better, keeping the seriousness of the CERVICAL CANCER issue in mind, if Governments come together and provide these tests free for the sake of their poor citizens.

China Backs Extremist Countries

North Korea tests long-range missile under the garb of putting a satellite in space. America reacts strongly and urges the world community to react sharply and strongly against the N.Korea’s actions. However, Russia and China are backing N.Korea. China has a porous border with N.Korea and if any sanctions will be placed on the already impoverished state, then China has to suffer. Not only this reason, N.Korea sees a strong financial ally in China, like Pakistan. Now, China who wants to become a superpower by dethroning America, patronizes and supports the dangerous actions of extremist countries like N.Korea, one can easily think what lies ahead for our future generations in this power-hungry world.

Tomb Cleaning Ceremony – The Chinese Way of Servicing their Ancestors

The 3-day Tomb Cleaning day has started in China. During these 3 days, people visit their ancestors’ tombs to clean the tombs of their ancestors and to pay homage. In order to honor their ancestors, people buy different things, which the ancestors used or liked when they lived on this earth, and place the same in their tombs and seek blessings. As per Chinese tradition, such way of seeking blessings will bring them fortune. Every year, this ceremony has been helping the Chinese railways to garner the much-needed demand. Most of the people who visit these tombs are either in their middle or in old age. The new generation seems to be averse to this idea. Instead of paying respects to their ancestors, the new generation is critical of the ceremony itself and who is lining their pockets under the garb of this kind of ceremonies.

IS PAKISTAN GOING TO COLLAPSE?

It seems YES as per the experts of Asian region. If Taliban continues to attack in the same manner as it is doing it right now, not only Pakistan no country will survive. Taliban has already occupied the SWAT valley of Pakistan and had entered in to a deal with Pak authorities to implement Shariat over there. Moreover, they are doing so. The recent broadcast of a flogging episode of a teenager is apt example for this. People in Taliban areas are living like slaves in the hands of ultra-religious extremist people. Recently, Taliban increased the frequency of attacks on Pakistan also. However, Pakistan, already a failing state, is not in a position to absorb the frequent hittings of Taliban in its sensitive areas.
