Remarkable Judgment for Babri Issue

The Babri masjid issue is finally resolved in an amicable manner by
those three judges, who acted with more responsibility and
accountability considering India as a nation with people of different
faiths. In fact, whole India has been anxiously waiting for this
historic and remarkable judgment for the last few days. This is one of
those burning topics which almost every citizen of India knows and is
expecting a final amicable solution. When the whole world, including
our enemy countries, are closely following the developments regarding
this issue, settling the matter in this way really might have
increased their confidence level in India's secularism. After Babri
masjid issue, the way the violent events happened between both the
communities and the inflammatory speeches made against each other
accompanied with the relentless nefarious activities in the form of
supporting terrorist activities to divide India by our 'small but
dangerous neighboring countries', nobody has expected that one day
this issue will be resolved in a harmonious manner for all the parties
involved in the dispute. With this judgment, it seems that there is a
way that the strained relations between both the communities (Hindus
and Muslims) can become normal and all those horrific and haunting
memories can be erased. This is really a rare happy ending for one of
those long-standing thorny issues that India has been facing since its
independence. Let's be mature enough in our thinking and actions from
at least here onwards, get inspired by this remarkable judgment, and
maintain this judgment as a precedence to resolve all other burning
topics that our beloved country has been facing. Jai Hind!

Donating Eyes

Donating eyes after you leave this world is really a great feat; it
helps at least two blind people after your death. In other words, not
only you are donating your eyes physically but providing them SIGHT,
which they have been lacking since they opened their eyes after taking
birth on this planet Earth, to see all the beautiful things. Being
blind is one thing but facing the society with that handicap is
another. By pledging your eyes, you are attaining the status of a
Demi-God for those two blind people, who are not gifted sight by that
SUPREME LIGHT.

behavior, and time and again doing infraction are all nothing but a
display of decrepit ego. To survive in this society, you need to be
cooperative, show decency and gentleness in your talk and walk, follow
the society accepted rules and regulations. Though you behave like a
rebel with a bruised soul, that behavior can destroy your existing
chances to lead a peaceful life. Acrimonious behavior leads to
nowhere. Juxtaposing all your good qualities and displaying them
entails a necessary part of your society's existence. Be true to
yourself. Being a charlatan in life anyways does not attract a single
femme fatale for sure but makes your remaining part of life miserable.

behavior and hector talking side. It is because she does not like it.
And stop bluffing around being a charlatan of some unknown skill set.
Juxtaposing all your personality loopholes and displaying them in

no sympathy/empathy on you but helps her build acrimonious feelings
against you in her heart. Present yourself as a gentleman, who

Being cheeky in conclaves is OK, when both the parties are amicable
with each other. Even contentions about important matters can be
settled peacefully when both the parties understand each other; while
doing so both the parties have to contrive this skillfully, to move
from contentions to concord. Behaving in a condescending manner and
latter expressing contrite by either party kills the business cloy
atmosphere. But, if it happens, neither party can pardon itself for
destroying the amicable environment and nobody, including a
cheapskate, shows any commiserate behavior for what have been done
knowingly. In summary, never destroy an amicable business environment
just to satisfy your ego by pulling your business partner's leg.

preparing herself for hosting the CWG. Although the way, the Maoists
pulled this kidnap is not an offbeat one, but the way the govt.
authorities handled the issue is quite offhand. The regular police
combing operations are OK but produced no significant result. The way
the Maoists have outflanked the govt. administration in this case
displays their one-upmanship in this kind of opprobrious situations.
And by killing the poor innocent police constable in such an
inhumanitarian way, which is off color, the Maoists have projected
themselves not only obstreperous but also officious. On the whole, the
innocent society and its citizens are bearing the brunt of both
callous Maoists and turpitude state authorities for no reason.

The society can bear a termagant but not a twerp, who shows
tomfoolery. Nowadays, most of the politicians are nothing but
turncoats when it comes to implement the promises they had made during
the elections. Their will to implement the promises that they made has
become so tenuous that it proves difficult for anyone to measure it
by any touchstone. The desire (to change the country for good), which
was so trenchant in their will when they expressed it has now become a
touch-and-go. The carelessness attitude, which they show in our
national assemblies by wasting public money and time doing silly
debates about petty issues, is tantamount to their lack of knowledge
and respect to the public opinion, who voted for them. Any citizen can
go dumbfound and thunderstruck when they see the way how the present
politicians are so casually and callously deciding his/her future in
the assemblies; sometimes, even without a debate!

Akshay Kumar's action and his effort to vindicate himself from
different allegations heaped on him as part of the story that really
thrills. For Akki baba, the success of "Hera Pheri" is a real
walkover. All those white lies and their vignettes with their apt
context vistas are another advantage that worked for the success of
the movie. Akshay's falsely claimed virtues attract the heroine and
his inescapable turpitude really thrills the audience throughout the
movie. For people, who are unbeknown of this movie, this is a "must
watch".

Wait for Your Red-Letter Day!

Being reticent is good in some circumustances but not all times unless
you are working on some secret mission. Despite how resplendent and
reticent you are, psychologically you suffer lot of trauma because of
this reticent behavior. In other words, it is nothing but you are
inflicting a terrible retribution on yourself for some unknown reason.
There will be no respite for you until you let go off this reticent
behavior and come out in the open and share your thoughts/ feelings
with others. You have the choice to make reparations about your
behavior. Maybe, there was something like a red-herring, which made
you renege on your promises made to someone so important in your life
and because of that society categorized you as one of those
riff-raffs. However, this is a part of life and happens in everybody's
life at one time or other. At the same time, every life has its own
red-letter day and you will also have definitely one, which makes you

What is in a NAME?

After the release of My NAME IS KHAN and the smarter dialog which pops
out out of Shahrukh's mouth, most of the times, in all the critical
contexts of the movie - And I am not a terrorist - people started
realizing that the name given to them in their childhood by their
elders has the capacity to invoke fear/ terror or respect/regard in
others.

It is not that so far they do not know this fact; but, the intensity
of the name impact has grown a little bit more NOW.

Most of the times, in regular society, we come across people who are
named after different great people, as per the religion they follow.
But, there are a few people in this world but who created and
implemented terror in an organized way killing innocents in large
number; unfortunately, these merciless people are also named after the
same great ones whose name an ordinary man fondingly gives to his new
born child with great respect and reverence. Now imagine how the
society reacts to this child, who has that name in this
terror-stricken society, at no fault of his/her.

Therefore guys, we should/must learn to discriminate, not stereotype,
everybody who is having a certain kind of name (which you think as
objectionable!). For that matter, people who are named after "Guatam
Buddha" does not have the capability or potential to become or do a
"Buddha" range act. In the same way, people who are given some
eyebrow-raising names (they were treated as good names earlier but due
to the acts of some individuals, now, the name itself invokes fear!)
are all not culprits.

So, please stop stereotyping people and treat every person as a
different individual altogether.

India INC Hiring - But on What Basis???

Hey guys!!

I am really so happy that finally India Inc started hiring. So many
companies are doing that at a great pace also.

But what I could not understand is this: when our target markets like
America and Europe are still reeling under recession pressure and when
their weekly development data is still showing negative, who in this
world is giving new projects to our Indian Inc?

Is it something like that our Indian companies are hoping for the best
(about that will get the projects somehow!) to happen and started this
massive and heavy recruitment drives just like in the same old way
(before recession times) so that they can show these numbers to their
clients to bag projects?

If this blog is thinking right at this moment, then guys, we can
expect a massive retrenchment in the near future because you all know
that these companies cannot hold this kind of numbers even for the
next coming 6-month period on their own (previous experience) without
getting considerable sum from their clients.

Finally, I would like to remind all you guys one simple and more
important point: Until unless our two big markets - America and Europe
- show some positive news about their development and employment
figures, do not expect a miracle to happen in the immediate future.

Think twice before you leave your present low-paying job for a
high-paying one with all promised PERKS at this moment!

PEOPLE who inhabited this planet before 30 years never ever imagined transaction like this. Irrespective of caster, creed, religion, region, gender, etc, Internet puts enormous connectivity potential in the hands of every single user.

If properly used, you can make more than million bucks at the click of a button by the tick of every second. Imagine people all over the world giving orders to you for your goods 24 X 7; if not Internet, otherwise, it is not possible like this.

What to know whether you are following materialistic way of life? If Yes, please read the following points, which hints the materialistic characteristics of a person, and compare the same with your own. There may be a chance that at least 1/2 points definitely coincide in everybody's case. The way to check the degree of materialistic nature you have at this moment is to try to match the following points with the ones you feel/ think that you exhibit in every day's life. Materialism and materialistic way of life both are different concepts. Most of us show some spirituality at one point of life. Actually, everybody knows spirituality gives peace of mind whereas materialistic mentality increases the animal craving for more and more needs and comforts. And this blog agrees that at this moment most of the people in this world are valuing materialistic way of life compared to spirituality and in the race of winning and gaining more they are not in a position to think about even the nearby future.

Can you guess how long can these materialistic humans walk on this planet if they continue to crave for more at the present rate? You know the answer is "not much time". Ok. If humans stop this animal craving for more and more, stop following the illogical and irresponsible materialistic way of life, and try to judiciously use all the resources they have at this moment by maintaining an eye on future, we can all hope that planet Earth can survive for some more time as the only planet that holds survivable climatic conditions for human beings in the entire galaxy.

Life is full of tasks; everyday we start many things but do not complete them. In other words, we leave them unfinished. Why like that? It is not necessary to complete or whatever we do. But leaving a business unfinished is not recommended anywhere. It is always better to tie the loose ends. Never ever leave an unfinished business just like that; complete it. And make sure that is completed from all the angles.

Sometimes, unfinished business from our past life comes back haunting into the present life context and creates unwanted obstacles or troubles in our present life. Once the problems start, then people will start wondering first about why and where from these unexpected issues are popping up in to their pleasant cool life. After they come to know the origin of the problems, then they wonder why they had not finished the old business during that time itself. Life is full of contradictions. Those who understand the concept of life only can understand the importance of survival tactics of life and try to implement them. Life is not cool for everyone. But we can prevent most of the problems by making it a habit of completing whatever we had started in life; means do not leave any business unfinished.

Being Poor Helps You… Sometimes!!!

Being poor is good for your health. Yes, anyways being poor means there is no chance for you to consume extra calories. Right? That way, you consume less which in turn makes you slim if your genes won't ditch you. Therefore, for you, there is no need to go to that hi-fi gym and pay fees for using the ultra-chic equipment there. But, rich have to do this. Because their spending power buys them all sorts of unnecessary calorie rich stuff and they eat that anyways, which leads to increase in the girth of their pot size belly. Again to reduce this, they prefer to go to gym/ health care/ fitness centers, which charge them heavily to reduce their own hidden fat. How ridiculous! And, being poor, before you spend every penny, you think twice. This kind of thinking increases your alertness which in turn increases your consciousness. Rich people pay hefty fees to attend meditation classes just to incre ase their consciousness and alertness. Since most of the times, they rarely get a scenario which taxes their mind power; just to keep their mind in healthy state they are forced to attend meditation classes. Being poor, your situation itself creates such kind of environment without you paying a single penny! Howzatt!!

Society scrutinizes every action of yours, if you are poor. To avoid this, you need to consider Society and how it reacts and responds for actions of yours, for every activity you do. Most of the poor people think that life is a hell; this kind of looking at life happens only when you compare yourself with the filthy rich guys. But, just look at the way on what rich guys are spending money for. They spend most of their money on feeling good and looking good. Feeling good factor is a costly one. People, only when they can buy what they want to buy and do how they want to do, can feel good. But it is not possible for everyone, though being rich, at all times. Sometimes, being poor helps you to do what you want to do without attracting unnecessary eyeballs. And about the looking good factor, you don't need to think about that. Your situation and your purchasing power parity take cares of y our slim look. Any doubt!

In summary, sometimes, being poor helps you in more than one way. A few things, which you feel that can be possible only for rich guys, are unnecessary to lead one's life. If you are good at preventing them happening to you, then there is no need for you to be rich. Just like what we discussed above, if you control what you eat, there is no need to go to gym. Similarly, if your mind is alert and your consciousness level is high, there is no need for you to attend meditation classes, etc. After saying all the above stuff, this blog also agrees that there a few things only money can buy to further your advantage in current life, for example, just like your international MBA degree, your flying power to anywhere in this world within a few hours, etc.

The Trend of Luck

Luck has much for many, but enough for no one. It's true that everybody needs luck badly. But it is not only scarce and nobody knows when it will brace you or leave you. That is LUCK! Some people believe in luck and they feel that the things happening in their life are because of luck they have. Irrespective of the believing or not believing in luck, everyone in this world needs a bit of luck. Even Thomas Edison, who believed in science and invented so many new things for the convenience of mankind believed in luck. He himself said that genius is 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration, which is nothing but luck.

There are so many examples in our real life regarding this luck. People, whom we know for years and who were declared dud in their professional life, have suddenly started flying in their careers. Everyone wonders how it happens. But it happens and is happening. Nobody knows for sure how luck play games with us. There is no mathematical formula to predict the lucky trends in our life. All the algorithms so far invented by mathematicians hoping that they can capture the future trend of luck, sadly explains only the past performance of luck. There are so many theories to predict the patterns of luck.

From the religion point of view, those who do good karma possess good luck. If a person does the bad karma, the percentage of luck factor goes down. Nowadays, we can see the fortune graphs of people rising and lowering just like stock market Sensex within a few seconds. As per religion, the underlying factor that causes these random and unpredictable Up and Down fortune aberrations in our life with rapid frequency is because of the LUCK percentage factor in our lives.

In summary, we can only conclude by saying that luck never gives, it only lends. And no one can make luck. It has to be given by some unknown force or factor. How and on what basis the percentage of luck will be allocated to us, nobody knows.

Turnover as a Performance Indicator

While buying mutual funds, most of the investors consider turnover as one of the performance measuring indicator along with other indicators such as P/E ratio, load/no-load, investment strategy, etc. As per this blog, considering mutual fund turnover as a performance indicator is ridiculous. At most, you can consider the turnover factor as the complimentary performance indicator along with other regular performance indicators.

In a financial year, if a mutual fund shows 100% turnover means that it has replaced all of its holdings at least once in the last 12-month period. If the turnover is more than 100% means, the rate of replacement of holdings increased by more than 1 factor. There are so many things to be taken into consideration before judging why a particular fund is showing that much percentage turnover. And one more factor is that whenever a fund goes for buying/selling of holdings, it has to pay tax on every transaction. Whatever profit it is expecting to earn by buying/selling the holdings that should be more than what it pays as tax and other expenses.

A few funds do not go for huge turnovers. But that does not mean that they are so prudent and are following a profitable path. As per funds history, there are so many low turnover funds that have made huge losses by not doing trades at the right time in the market. The high turnover funds are no exceptions. If the manager of a particular fund wants to dump the holdings at the wrong time, it means that the fund lost so much money in the form of taxes. Buying/selling holdings without following right market timings will bring loss to high turnover funds.

In summary, it is always better to give less importance to the turnover as a performance indicator. Always give priority to other performance indicators and if you want consider turnover as a complimentary performance indicator rather than the main indicator.

If you are sure about particular sector funds, have enough knowledge in the basics of investing in those sectors and sector fundamentals, you can go for sector fund investing and reap huge benefits. Now the stock market is UP. And it seems that this trend is going to continue irrespective of the current recession. The FIIs are pushing the market up again. And it is time for the small time investor to again start doing the investments through funds.

Sector funds may add value and double your returns at this moment. But as you all know, every coin has two faces. It is better to branch your investments in sector funds while maintaining the proportional investments in other options like Open-ended mutual funds for diversification. If the boom continuous, the sector funds may add value and returns to your portfolio; but it bursts, your diversified investment portfolio will save you from the market crash.

Sector funds have high maintenance part. They come with huge overheads. It is always better to check out how much the fund is charging under the Fund Maintenance part before jumping into the ring.

Products are updated by their manufacturers following the market demands of the customers. After every updation, the manufacturer releases the new version of the product along with a Release Notes. This Release Notes talks about so many things about the product in terms of defects/bugs, enhancements, changes made to the existing features, etc. And every manufacturer tries to give precise and correct information in the Release Notes. Since there is no universal format about how to write the Release Notes, every company follows its own standards in presenting the content and layout design.

All over the world, there is a convention among the Release Notes documenters that the Release Notes should be written in Present Tense. But at the same time, all companies don't follow this rule religiously. Again, there is no consensus about how much content should be provided to the reader of the Release Notes relating to a particular topic. In companies, this decision is always taken by the Documentation Head in a subjective way. That means, whatever goes as part of the content to the reader, depends on the wish of the Documentation Head. Nobody is quite sure about the content aspect. Some companies try to write the Release Notes as a mini-guide but a few others go for providing conceptual outline for the changes done along with respective guide links, where the new content in detail has been updated. Reader can click the guide links and read the content in detail, if s/he wants. < /P>

A few documenters debate about which tense should be used in Release Notes. As per them, if you are writing the Release Notes about a defect, then the problem part should be written in Past tense and the Solution should be written in the Present Tense. But, all over the world, documenters insist on writing all the Release Notes in Present Tense. A few others write in whatever tense they feel convenient; these guys argument is that they are mainly targeting the reader understanding aspect. Therefore, the stress is not upon the tense and sentence structure part but on the readability part.

In summary, how to write a proper Release Notes is proving to be a mystery for the new writer. Since the writer's content is always at the mercy of the Content Reviewer, there is much not scope on the part of the writer regarding how much content should be provided to the reader. Unfortunately, there is not much content available in the Net relating to the Release Notes.

It is not possible for a person, who is a strict follower of existing rules, to think creatively and design new rules. Although it is better to follow your own instincts, but sometimes, it is rather better to look at other people and understand their suggestions before discarding them. This way, though you won't follow what others seem to be dictating, from your point of view, but still you can share their knowledge. Sharing knowledge is a good thing. In these recession times, getting an interview call is a big achievement. Normally companies conduct telecom before they go for a face-to-face interview with the candidate. Earlier, most of the companies used to pay to and fro charges for all the outstation candidates. Sometimes, in earlier days, depending up on the position and urgency of the job vacancy to be filled, companies used to book flight tickets for the prospective candidates; but those days were gone. In good olden days (read pre-recession days), every company worth its salt used to pay all the charges including relocation to the selected candidate. But, in these times of recession, where people lost their jobs and are unable to pay their own expenses to attend the interview though talented, are not getting help from the interview-calling company. This situation is too bad.

The Cat is Out of the Bag

The beloved Satyam company is in news again! Yes, this time, it is about redundant employees. Everybody knows that Tech Mahindra had acquired Satyam company (bought a majority share at a whopping 20.99 billion INR). At the time of acquisition, like every new acquirer, Tech Mahindra has said that the company won't lay off employees. They want the talent to grow in their acquired company, Tech Mahindra declared. The Satyam employees were also happy regarding the Tech Mahindra's acquisition of Satyam because the former is an Indian company, which is capable of understanding Indian employee sentiments.

However, it seems that all these mutual understandings had gone in vain. Now, though the company is not talking about the lay offs directly but its statements are indicating something like that and the number of employees that are going to be effected is approximately 1/4th of the existing Satyam staff. If this number of talented employees comes in to the job market during this recession time, just imagine the period during which they can get a new job that suits their talent and perks. How long will it take the existing job market to absorb this huge talent figure? As per this blog estimate, it will nearly take at least 1 year if all other things remain status quo.

India has started feeling the recession heat since 2009 February. Although the whole world has started feeling the recession heat since 2008 October, India could able to stay away from the recession heat due to the monetary and fiscal policies adapted by the country. Regarding the domestic job market, the country has been announcing stupendous financial support time-by-time to boost the domestic demand so that it can save millions of domestic jobs. However, the IT sector and its related job market, which is mainly dependent on the outsourced projects, are at the mercy of the revival of the world economy. One can see hope rising in the IT sector only the day when the American economy bounces back.

LTTE Has Become History

Now the fighting in Sri Lanka is over to its President Rajpakse's satisfaction. The Sri Lankan military has delivered a crushing blow on LTTE and the result is that Sri Lanka is now free of extremist LTTE. The Tamils living in the LTTE captured areas were given a safe passage before the final confrontation. Prabhakaran, the LTTE Chief Supremo, along with his aides died in the battle to the relief of Sri Lankan government. Rajpaksa has given a freehand to the military to defeat LTTE. There were so many human casualties during the war, but all were ignored. The human rights groups have reported nearly 6000 human casualties during the war.

Sri Lankan government has declared a nation-wide holiday to commemorate the end of LTTE. The war with LTTE has been going on for the past 25 years without any positive outcome. Now, the Sri Lankan army has brought the war to its logical conclusion. India helped and supported Sri Lanka in so many ways to defeat LTTE. Prabhakaran's aides killed Rajiv Gandhi, the ex-PM of India, because he has sent help to Sri Lankan government to defeat LTTE. Since then, India has been hunting for Prabhakaran; the main aim is to try him under Indian law for his drastic actions against Rajiv Gandhi.

Finally, the end of war with LTTE has once again proved that nothing can be accomplished through violence.

Common Man – The Kingmaker

Now the elections are over and the much-awaited results are out. All the political parties are shocked and surprised at the results. The so-called leaders have not grasped the intelligence of the Common Man and played the same game as usual, as they used to play in olden days. They have not understood that the gadget using population of India can make a difference through their votes even after listening to their gullible long speeches for hours. Even the Netas tracked the Indian population using every communication channel including the modern Net and made sure that the target population should have seen their vote-request advertisements. The leaders left no stone unturned but they lost in guessing right; why?

It is because of the overconfidence factor that they have projected in their speeches, blatantly drastic acts they did in their constituencies during their regimes, and the underestimation of the intelligence of the Common Man. They insulted Common Man through their ridiculous offers like free money, free power, etc, which are not possible to do so in reality. Even a child has the knowledge nowadays to understand and question the vague promises of the so-called Netas about how they could give when the State itself has been reeling under debt.

The election results indicate that Indians, this time, favored dynasty rule as they did many times before. Although the dynasty point is there but this time they voted for Congress keeping the professional veterans like Manmohan, Chidambaram, etc, in mind hoping that they can deliver what they had promised during their election campaigns.

Let's hope that the so-called professional veterans take India to the next stage where it can be reckoned as one of the potential forces both financially and militarily.

The Salary Bargaining Power

During interviews, it is common that the respective HR of the concerned company asks you to tell him/her how much you want as remuneration/CTC to work for their company. Moreover, everybody faces this toughest interview question irrespective of his or her domain.

If the employee is already a laid off one, then by default, s/he loses the bargaining power. If the employee is still working in a company but wants to come out of it quickly because they are planning to shutdown the company, and conceded the same to the target company HR, then again s/he loses the bargaining power. If the employee is forcefully pushed out of the company, means terminated, then obviously getting a job itself will become so difficult for the employee; therefore, forget about salary negotiations.

Only those employees who have considerable experience in their respective domain, knowledge in their field, created considerable impact during the interview on the interview panel, and currently holding a job can negotiate and demand salary face-to-face with the HR of the target company. Otherwise, just forget about that during these recession times. If you donâ€™t fall into the above category, no matter whatever logic you use, it does not hold much water from the target company HR point of view.

Yes, this is true that the two strong factors, which work, in getting you a job are effort and patience. Effort in terms of number of attempts you apply for a job, number of interview calls attended, etc. Patience in terms of the time you took to get a job without getting wavering to other distractions. used to hear ridiculous stories from people who returned from US
saying that people there SUE even big corporations, without fear, if
they bear loss because of the company's product. It is something they
do quite often and because of that company's there, take so many
measures in order not to give a chance for their customers to SUE
them.

Exactly, let's hope that the SHOE throwing episodes in Indian election
scenario should bring such kind of accountability and responsibility
in the mind and hearts of the existing and would-be politicians. This
kind of episodes will definitely embarrass and harass them in front of
the public for not doing their work properly. Justice delayed is
justice denied. It seems that since justice is delayed (in most of the

Guru Chandala Yoga and Anjali

Anjali, a relatively unknown lawyer so far, suddenly shot into limelight a few days back when she was asked to represent the Mumbai’s 26/11 lone-surviving terrorist, Ajmal Kasab. In astrology, there has been a yoga called Guru Chandala Yoga. This yoga forms when the planets Guru and Rahu meet each other in the same Nakshatra and Pada, during their transit. This year, Guru Chandala Yoga formed on March 23 and continued until April 10, 2009. Any person who is having Guru in good position in his/her horoscope has the chance to face this Guru Chandala Yoga. The result of this yoga makes a person to lose his/her social status, money, respect, etc.

During this period, Kasab’s case also took so many twists and turns; finally, the buck stopped at such a position where Kasab has asked for a lawyer to represent himself. Then Anjali came into picture. She was asked by the court to represent Kasab. Immediately, the political parties, which don’t want Kasab’s trail to happen, protested in front of Anjali’s house. Samajwadi Party (SP) has released its party manifesto for 2009 Loksabha elections recently. The horror part is that the party wants to abolish English medium education and eliminate computers and other mechanization programs; the party feels that these are the real culprits in increasing the unemployment factor in India. SP will implement the above point of its manifesto when the party joins hands with a ruling party after the April 2009 elections. Means, whichever party requests SP’s support to grab power in Delhi in these next coming Loksabha elections, has to agree and implement SP’s logic and manifesto points.

Pakistan Government again started making unintelligible & distasteful comments in media against India regarding the recent terrorist attacks happened in their country; Pak have been claiming that India is behind those attacks. The whole world condemned its latest incredible comments against India. However, undeterred Pak has been continuing in making this kind of wily comments.

Surprisingly, when the world is worried about Pakistan and its existence in the light of increased frequency of Taliban attacks on its prime centers and locations, Pak Government is least worried about that issue. From UK to US, every peace ambassador has been telling Pakistan Government to eliminate all the terrorist shelters and breakdown all the terrorist related infrastructure in their country. The worried world has even decided to provide financial aid to week Pakistan government so that they can effectively fight the terrorists staying in their country. Pakistan is eager to accept the aid but not ready to fight the terrorists.

One can see that Pakistan Government has been founding one or other excuse whenever somebody corners it regarding the terrorist elimination in their country. There has been an old saying: where there is a will, there is a way. When there is no will, you cannot see or find any way; for you everyway is blocked. When there is no will to fight the terrorists in your country, obviously you find lot of excuses to tell the world why you are unable to fight them! Right?

Is this true that Indian companies are hiring across all the sectors?
When you log in to Naukri/Monster, the big job portals in India, one
can see hell lot of jobs. However, frankly speaking, how many of you
got calls from the hiring companies. Most of the people who are
looking for new jobs after being laid off have been complaining that
they are not getting any calls though they applied for at least a 100
companies for the suitable post. This was not the case earlier.

In old days (read good days), one used to get a call just after
applying to 5/6 companies for the suitable post. Although the portals
have been displaying so many jobs, in real, nothing has been happening
i.e., no calls are coming from HR persons of the respective companies.
It seems companies are just collecting the resumes of likely
candidates now, and may be, in future, if everything goes well after a
few days, then they may call and conduct interviews.

Pakistan is Again in Turmoil

India's enemy-cum-friendly (kabhi haa..kabhi naa) neighbor Pakistan is
again in turmoil. Taliban has surrounded Islamabad and now making
threatening postures and statements to the PAK government. The reason
is that the Taliban is upset with the Pak Government on the deal it
had with the latter. Pakistan government used same dilly-dally tactics
as it has been using with India in dealing with Taliban also. India,
being a peaceful country, has restrained herself from making any
aggressive postures with Pakistan. Nevertheless, Taliban, being a
terrorist organization, is not in patience mood to tolerate Zardari
governments' self-pitying tactics. Therefore, in order to force the
Pak Govt to implement whatever deal they had between them, Taliban is
now surrounding Islamabad.

The humor of the context is though Pakistan is being shattered by
Taliban for the past few months by bomb blasts in different places,
the aggressive posture which Zardari government has been maintaining
in 26/11 case has not come down. Zardari, still, is making intolerable
comments against India in different press interviews. This is so bad
on the part of Zardari to do so though being in a responsible and
respectable position of Pakistan.

The journalists/reporters of these channels go to any extent to capture what they want. These news channels are backed up by huge political, money, and muscle power. Most of the times they display sting operations to expose a corrupt minister of opposition party, to highlight the atrocities committed by the ruling party, etc; But, on the whole, whomever the News Channel support, somehow knowingly or unknowingly, they are letting the viewer know that in what type of world s/he is living in.

Different News Channels express different views on different subjects. These views may be biased or objective. Watching TV Has Become A Burden

Everyday we watch TV. There are so many channels vying for your attention. Moreover, the technology has given you a comfort in the form of REMOTE so that you can switch channels as you wish whenever you feel bored by the current program. Television has become a part of our life. Nowadays, people may not have permanent shelter but not TV. No other gadget can replace the entertainment provided by TV. The regular TV serials and the saucy episodes of never ending family sagas have become part of our life. People discuss all those things that happen in a serial as if it is happening in their own family. They feel the same tension and relate themselves to the roles played in that serial. This is normal human psychology. People even love the role players and keep their photos in their pockets, purses, on the walls in their houses, etc.

Unfortunately, the content shown in these serials is so disturbing most of the times. The serial producers, for the sake of hiking their TRP ratings, introduce everything nasty as part of the serial. Every soap shows family feuds, cunning family members who want to out do each other, different kinds of illegal relations and long unwanted discussions about them, etc. No soap, serial, episode, etc, is free from this kind of disturbing stuff. Nobody is forcing these creative-less producers and directors to make this kind of serials. It seems there is an unholy nexus between serial-makers, advertisement marketers, and channel owners.

Journalists are educated people and are in a responsible profession to spread the truth. If any other person does the same thing, being a journalist, you go and ask hundreds of questions and not satisfying with the answer you receive, you start deducing your own assumptions and conclusions on the matter. Now, you as a responsible person in this society and do this kind of horrible and disgusting things, do you think you will be shot into fame and garlanded for your abominable acts. A sincere NO!

Maneka Gandhi is so depressed on seeing Varun Gandhi slapped with different kinds of law-breaking cases and languishing in jail instead of campaigning for BJP and ask for votes. She realized that Mayawati (UP CM) is the reason for all these bad things happening to Varun. Taliban’s False Claims

Taliban is an ambitious Terrorist organization. The point that it wants results quickly has been exposed when it claimed that the recent New York killings by a 42-year old Vietnamese are an act done on the orders of Taliban leader Baitullah Mehsud. Everybody knows it is a far-fetched claim. Not even in dreams that Taliban can do an act like this. This blog denies Taliban’s claim. Since the very Vietnamese man who killed 13 more people killed himself in the same fit of rage during the 4-hour seize of at American Civic Center and there is nothing to prove, now, that whether there are any links between that man and the Taliban leader, Taliban wants to exploit this loophole to gain a fear mileage in the hearts of Americans and other nationals.

Did you ever thought how come politicians make so much money even though they don't toil in offices until late hours, don't work what they are expected to do, and not accountable to people who elected them. This article is not stereotyping all the politicians under one umbrella. Moreover, the kind of politicians what we are seeing in our daily lives cannot reach the standards set by those old era politicians in any manner. Political career in India is in demand nowadays. It is acting as a professional net for people who fail in every competition in life that has to won by truth, intelligence, and loyalty. Those who fail to achieve things in life using TRUTH as a weapon are joining politics. That why, today's politics are full of lies, muscle power, and brazen corrupt practices. There are political swindles running in billion rupees yet nobody will be jailed. The judiciary is so slow in judging cases and it takes years (sometimes 25 years!) in getting judgment. That's why people (read politicians) supported by corrupted professionals left and right, don't hesitate in siphoning money out the tax payer's money illegally.

Keeping the present scenario in mind, one need to think objectively what sort of political representative the country needs today. Do you think that the educational qualification (minimum Degree level) should be made mandatory? Do you think that the person who wants to contest elections should not indulge in corrupt practices? Is it necessary to make a rule that politicians when they are in power should concentrate only up on their constituency related matters and should not indulge themselves in other money making practices? In earlier days, people used to join politics to do service for the society not to enjoy power and perquisites like today's majority of the politicians. Why the situation is degrading like this? Where the ethics have gone?

For some, politics has become a retirement career. Most of the political parties today are roping in old, young, and failed movie stars just to attract masses for votes. Why like this? This is because the political parties are quite sure that the works they have done so far after staying in power for 5 years could not garner votes for them. That means they are indirectly telling people that they are incompetent. So, why vote for them? By roping in drama/ cinema people to ask for votes, they are really insulting the Indian citizen's intelligence. Do they really think that the drama/cinema star, who don't know anything about politics and ignorant of state affairs, can numb the intelligence of average voter and rise the mindless passion in him/her to vote for the recommended party?

Again, there are people who after earning money in billions and who had not done even a single voluntary service to the village/place s/he has born in his/her entire career, join politics and aspire to become a minister. When people of this sort are coming into politics and directly trying to exploit the country's political system in this country, this article asks every reader whether there is any way to stop them from doing so.

HOW TO ASSESS THE PERFORMANCE OF YOUR POLITICAL REPRESENTATIVE?

My dear fellow Indian citizens! Elections are around the corner and you have to choose your political representative, who is going to stay in power for the next 5 years, on the Election Day. What criteria are you following to decide whether to give him/her the power to serve you? Do you think that your present representative have been serving you well? Did s/he develop your constituency as per the promises made in the last term elections? Where s/he is lacking? Is s/he representing your constituency without fail by attending the Assembly/Parliament regularly? Is s/he discussing the issues in the Assembly/Parliament regarding the constituency or just keeping mum?

Friends! This is the time the country needs you. Just think objectively about 5 minutes before you decide to whom you cast your vote. Your 5 minutes thinking has the potential to decide the fate of this country for the next 5 years. The 5 minutes time of your thinking about the country does not come under wasting time but helping a developing country by choosing the right management who has the potential to stay firm against the challenges the world throws at and provide solutions for the same.

India, my friend, is a country of diversity. People here live in a democratic way. India is the largest democratic country in the world. The successful conducting elections in India convey a lot to other countries in the world. So many citizens of other countries, who are not under democratic rule, look at India as an inspiration. India is the guiding light of democracy to this world. Countr ies having Autocratic, Authoritative, Military, and Dictatorship governances look at Indian Democratic form of governance in awe. Being a citizen of India, you need to be responsible in your thinking while choosing your political representative. Do not get swayed away by the rhetoric statements of a few selfish politicians who want only your vote power but not your development.

Before you cast your vote, just think about how many times you have seen your politician in the last 5 years; a simple litmus test. This article lists out a few tips, which suggest you when to change your political representative. Change your representative:

· If you have not seen him/her in the last 5 years

· If you have seen him/her just making empty speeches but not implementing anything practical

· If s/he is not attending Assembly/Parliament and just passing time here and there

· If s/he is passionate about career (making/acting in movies, etc) other than leading your constituency and not interested in your constituency problems

· If s/he is corrupt and has the aim to amass lot of wealth through illegal means

· If s/he has contacts with illegal elements in the society

Microsoft Outlook Inbox Mail Sorting Options Explained

Are you new to Microsoft Outlook? Do you know how to view your different categories of mails with a few clicks? This article lets you know in a simple way about how you can view your unread mails and sort out mails by Sender, Subject, Sent to, Conversation Topic-wise.

After your Outlook account has been setup by your Administrator, log in to the account using your Username and Password. Once you start getting mails, you need to sort them.

For sorting the mails …

1. Click Inbox; all the mails in your Inbox appears as the default view settings in three vertical panels. The first panel on your left displays your Folders, the second panel displays your Inbox mails, and the third panel displays the content of the selected mail.

2. If you want to sort your mails by Sender-wise, click the small downward arrow to the right of the Inbox link located just above the Inbox mails panel; Outlook displays a drop-down displaying different sort options.

· Click By Sender option; the Inbox mails panel immediately refreshes itself and display all the mails sent to you.

3. If you want to sort your mails by Subject-wise, click the small downward arrow to the right of the Inbox link located just above the Inbox mails panel; Outlook displays a drop-down displaying different sort options.

· Click By Subject option; the Inbox mails panel immediately refreshes itself and display all the mails subject-wise in ascending order.

4. If you want to sort your mails by Conversation-wise, click the small downward arrow to the right of the Inbox link located just above the Inbox mails panel; Outlook displays a drop-down displaying different sort options.

· Click By Conversation option; the Inbox mails panel immediately refreshes itself and display all the mails sent to you date-wise, the recent conversation appearing first in the Inbox.

5. If you want to sort your mails by Sent To-wise, click the small downward arrow to the right of the Inbox link located just above the Inbox mails panel; Outlook displays a drop-down displaying different sort options.

· Click Sent To option; the Inbox mails panel immediately refreshes itself and display all the mails sent to you date-wise, the first mail being the latest one sent to you on today.

6. If you want to sort your mails by Unread By Conversation Topic, click the small downward arrow to the right of the Inbox link located just above the Inbox mails panel; Outlook displays a drop-down displaying different sort options.

· Click Unread By Conversation Topic option; the Inbox mails panel immediately refreshes itself and display all the mails sent to you but have not read. The mails are displayed as per Conversation-wise, the recent Conversion appearing first in the Inbox.

7. If you want to sort your mails by Unread Messages, click the small downward arrow to the right of the Inbox link located just above the Inbox mails panel; Outlook displays a drop-down displaying different sort options.

· Click Unread Messages option; the Inbox mails panel immediately refreshes itself and display all the unread mails sent to you as per time and date wise.

8. If you just want to view your mails as per time and date, then chose the Messages option; click the small downward arrow to the right of the Inbox link located just above the Inbox mails panel. Outlook displays a drop-down displaying different sort options.

· Click Messages option; the Inbox mails panel immediately refreshes itself and display all the mails sent to you as per time and date wise.

9. If you want to have a Two-Line View, click Inbox link located just above the Inbox mails panel. Click the small downward arrow to the right of the Inbox link located just above the Inbox mails panel; Outlook displays a drop-down displaying different sort options.

· Click Two-Line View option; the Inbox mails panel immediately refreshes itself and display all the mails sent to you with the Sender's Name and the mail's Subject in two different lines.

Who Read Product Guides By the Way?

Is guide writing a waste exercise? There are so many reports, which say that people around the world, always find product guides as unavoidable nuisance. Frankly speaking, most of the customers (end users) do not read guides, which are supplied along with their new products. End users always try to handle new products, as if they know quite well in advance about how to deal or use them although they are handling it for the first time. With imagined functionality knowledge, they press buttons here and there located on the product without making any effort to read the guide. When the product starts behaving bizarrely, only then they try to go through the provided guide in a haphazard manner. They expect that the solution for their current problem should appear instantly when they open the product guide. Moreover, when they cannot find the solution immediately, they pickup the phone, call the Product Support Team to bash them about selling such a lousy product, and to request a readymade solution to fix the product to make it work immediately.

Technical writers do more research before they start writing about the product. They try to cover every feature of the product while writing the guide keeping the target audience in mind. A single product needs to be presented in different kinds and categories of guides depending upon the types of end users. Different reviewers will review every guide. The reviewer attempts the tasks explained in the guide makes sure that everything is written properly. Once all the documentation revisions are over, only then, the guide will be shipped along with the new product.

End users won’t give much importance to the product guide. S/he concentrates more on the product and its interface to understand about the product functionality. Very rarely, the end user reads the product guide to understand the underlying functionality. However, after reading a few pages, s/he complains about the new terminology used in the guide without going through the glossary, which explains the terminology part that is located at the end of the guide.
Overall, it seems that customers need instant knowledge. When they stuck somewhere while operating the product, they show no patience to refer the guide and get the solution. They want solution instantly. No matter how and where it comes from. And one more interesting research topic is that the end user is more inclined to listen than to read whenever s/he face problem with the product.

Recession, Cost-Cutting, and Sacrifice

During these times of recession, every company is undergoing a
significant cost-cutting session. Most of the companies are allotting
this cost-cutting job to the Human Resource department since they are
free and there are no new recruitments to be made in these turbulent
times. Once the official cost-cutting person is appointed, the
concerned person focuses on different aspects of cost cutting. These
aspects range from cutting power bills to cutting redundant jobs.
Since the cost cutting follows a layered approach, this article tries
to analyze the different cost cutting measures the company adopts in
different rounds of cost cutting so that the employers can stay afloat
in these difficult times no matter what.

Normally, in the first round of cost cutting, the cost-cutter targets
power bills, paper waste, printing, diesel, etc, kind of stuff. During
these times, the employees can breathe easy because this activity
indicates that the company is still not thinking of laying off
employees to save their profits. Once all the fringe cost-cutting
measures are done and the company reaches its targeted figures, then
the employees can think that their jobs are safe until for the next
few days.

If the recession continues and the company is unable to withstand the
worst of the recession effects, then the second round cost cutting
starts. This time, the cost cutter may target employees who have been
recently recruited and have been in training for the last few months.
These people have yet to contribute to the profits of the company but
due to the unbearable recession pressure, these people will be laid
off. The company then again checks whether it has reached its target
figures or not; once it reaches the required figures, then it gives
rest to the cost cutter.

Now, the company employs only experienced people who have been with
the company for the past few years and who contributed a lot for its
present survival. Meanwhile, the company scrutinizes the performance
of different layers of employees and filters them based on their
performance. Now, again the company hits by recession. Immediately,
the third round of cost-cutting starts; this time, the company
executes its pre-prepared list and lays off employees based on their
performance.

Finally, a stage reaches where the company depends on the experts, who
have been considered as the cream of the company workforce. Now, these
people along with the directors, who are reluctant to cut their fat
salaries instead of laying off employees, run the company on the
day-to-day basis. Unfortunately, the recession strikes again and the
company decides to lay off the cream layer also. Only the directors
remain. So far, the directors are taking their fat salaries
irrespective of the crisis and employee layoffs. The directors who
care nobody except himself or herself have forgotten the sacrifices
made by the employees all these years who made the company reach its
zenith.

In summary, people who are in the top ranks of the company ladder are
neither responding nor willing to make sacrifices in these turbulent
times of recession to save those employees who had worked for the
company day-in and day-out. The employees have been making sacrifices
both in good and old times. The only thing that remained throughout is
the sacrifice of the employees irrespective of whether there is a
recession or not.

Indian Citizen – Are You Questioning Your Representative?

India, right now, is in the midst of elections hungama. Eligible
candidates have already thrown their hats in the ring and have already
started vying against their opponents. Indian citizens are also
watching the elections excitement closely. 2009 elections are crucial
for India. And there are so many reasons to say so.

The first reason is that the world economy is down due to recession
and this has already created a major impact on Indian exports forcing
companies to close down their operations and lay off their loyal
employees, who had worked for the company so long. The second reason
is in the last 4 years, prices of goods have almost doubled forcing
people who do not have substantial income to go to bed without dinner.
The third reason is the infrastructure of India, whether it is power,
roads, etc, has not been developed with respect to the rate of the
population growth. The fourth reason is the protectionist measures
being implemented by developed countries like America to protect their
own job losses. Because of this Indian IT industry is on the shaking
ground now. The fifth reason is terrorism. Today, the neighboring
countries of India are fighting daily with the extremist elements on a
daily basis. The Maoist terror in Nepal, the LTTE extremities in Sri
Lanka, the Taliban leeway in Pakistan and Afghanistan and the recent
26/11 attacks on India are the symptoms of coming terror days. Like
this, one can enumerate so many crucial hot reasons, which force every
Indian citizen to sit and notice. Now, the point is does the
politicians who are contesting by making so many popular promises can
take care of all these things or look after his/her own concerns and
bag a few billions by indulging in corrupt practices as they did
previously?

This article wants to ask every Indian to think about their respective
representative's previous poll promises and how far they were
fulfilled by the concerned person. If not, why? India is not the same
country as it was in post-Independence era now. The whole world is
developing at a rapid pace. If India won't develop, then she will lose
the race. Not only that she may lose to take advantages of things
happening in and around the world at a rapid pace but also the job
opportunities, which have direct impact on daily lives of this huge
population.

The development of India starts from your bloc. If every Indian
citizen starts questioning the accountability of their concerned
representatives, then within no time, India will have better
representatives serving every nook and corner of the country.

Remember one thing: The dearest friends of Development are
Accountability and Responsibility and wherever there is no
Accountability, there won't be any Development.
